Bridges Career Academies & Workplace Connection
Bridges Career Academies & Workplace Connection is coordinated by the Chamber as a link between education and business by providing structure for outcome-based, work-based learning experiences for high school students from 23 area high schools. The Bridges Career Academies offer high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore a career pathway to prepare for their post-secondary education through programs of study taught in their school by high school and college faculty. Work-based learning and an introduction to entrepreneurship is included in all Academies.
Bridges Leadership Council Committee
Guides the workplace learning experiences coordinated by the Chamber for high school students from 23 area high schools, and the career academies coordinated by Central Lakes College in many of the school districts. Chairman: Tim Houle, Widseth Smith Nolting.
