Exploration Tours information

The Chamber Welcome Centers in Brainerd, Crosslake, and Pequot Lakes are arguably one of the most valuable resources for visitor information in the Lakes Area. Annually, more than 170,000 tourists visit our Welcome Centers requesting information. Per month, no less than 1,000 inquires are made about the area’s attractions, lodging, dinning, and activities. In order to provide these visitors with accurate information, we have introduced Exploration Tours within our Chamber Member base to gain first hand knowledge about the BLA and all is has to offer.

Formerly known as Front Line Tours, Exploration Tours are simply a scheduled visit by Chamber Staff to tour your facility. The firsthand knowledge gained from an Exploration Tour gives our staff the ability to effectively promote your business to our area’s visitors.

How it Works

Exploration Tours are attended by Chamber staff from the Pequot Lakes, Crosslake, and Brainerd Welcome Centers. Although not required, these tours also have the option to be open to other tourism related business owners and employees from our area. This will give those that are part of the Tourism sector in our community a chance to network, exchange ideas, and support each other.

If you choose to have your tour available to members or if you would like to be a part of the tours that are available please let us know.

These tours also allow you to voice any concerns or suggestions you might have for the Chamber. As an organization, we are always looking for ways to help our members while making sure they get the most out of their membership. You can let us know how we can best serve you.

If you have already participated in a tour last season, please feel free to schedule another visit. You can share any updates you have made, new events and offerings, or just refresh our staff on your business.

Tours will take place from May through the end of the summer tourism season. With up to three tours a week, there is flexibility in the schedule to make sure all those who would like to participate are able to do so.
